You see, especially in the insurance industry, premium rates that continue to drop cause a surplus of demand - and simultaneously create a deficit of supply. Consider the following:

  • BMW going to update the M5 so soon?

Spy Photos is showing off some photos that elude to the idea of the BMW M5 getting a bit of a touch up on the style segment. Personally, I’m not 100% convinced that it’s an improvement. While the current M5 looks very big, I think the styling looks great. I’ve only had the opportunity to drive one once, but it was nothing short of breathtaking, and I’ve been driven around a few times in one, and that car’s got more gizmos than a geek’s home-made prom date. Of all the M-cars of the past though, the 2005 M3 is still my favorite.

So, I spoke with my fleet organizer this week, and there are still no 2007s in yet (or at least enough for me to get one). He did call just to check in and to tell me they hadn’t forgotten about me, which was very nice and very appreciated.

Jalopnik had a post recently pointing out the similarities between the Tesla and the Elise. While their interior looks a little similar in these photos, I think it’s kind of a bogus reference.
You can see it all here.

I’ve actually sat in the Elise and I remember it being so damn small. I think the Tesla looks a lot bigger.
